The Biotechnology Ph.D. Program was established in September 2011 within the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences at Yeditepe University.
Program Objectives
The primary goal of the Biotechnology Program is to cultivate individuals capable of developing solutions for pressing issues in health, agriculture, food, and environmental sectors through focused research and development (R&D) and educational activities. Furthermore, the program aims to provide our country with a highly qualified workforce in this specialized field.
Program Vision
The program's objective is to significantly contribute to the formation of national policies for Turkey's scientific and economic future by collaborating with national and international universities, Technoparks, and R&D institutes in both education and research. This is achieved particularly through university-industry collaborative projects.
